Details: The last DB MKIII built chassis number 1850 which was hill climbed and raced. It was a DBD spec convertible, 3 SU's. It is understood that the factory were left with 5 unsold MK IIIs in mid 1959, at which point the new DB4s were selling well. All 5 cars were convertible chassis which the factory converted to Fixed Head Coupes. Four were sold as FHCs but the customer who bought the last one wanted a convertible and the factory took the roof back off.
